When it comes to camping you need a cooler, food, water, tents, clothes, and of course cheap sleeping bags. Getting your hands on the right type of sleeping bags can be easy unless you are trying to save your pennies.

Historical City Of Charleston

September 18, 2008 at 2:27 pm (Vacation Ideas)

I love to travel. There is nothing I like better then to explore new cities and even new lands. I have had the pleasure of traveling up and down the east coast of the United States more times than I can count and have been as far west as Texas. I have also been to Canada and Japan – which are both amazing and beautiful countries. One of the states that I love to remember and want to explore more is South Carolina.

There are many great cities in this state – but one of the ones that many people have recommended is Charleston. It is full of history and excitement and the rich culture that once existed in that land. With such a background you can imagine the type of museums that have been created. One of the more popular being the Living Museum.

This museum is based around a ‘small town’ in which the people in it dress, work, and play just like they would in the time period that it is depicting. I have been to one of these in Canada and it gives you a better idea on how the people lived. Much easier then reading about it. You may actually get to taste some of the authentic food that they make.

Charleston is also centered on the arts and is home to an excellent symphony orchestra. I have never had the chance to attend an orchestra performance before – but I absolutely love music and would enjoy it very much. I am hoping that next year I might be able to make the trip and discover Charleston in all its glory.
